A one-day business tour to Panyu, Guangzhou was organised on 23 August 2024, during which Hong Kong industry representatives paid a visit to Guangzhou Zhiyi Technology Co., Ltd., Prette Jewelery (Guangzhou) co. and Greater Bay Fashion Jewelry Youth Creative Entrepreneurship Center, which are in Sha Wan Jewelry Industrial Park. The tour provided a platform for Hong Kong industry representatives to have better understanding of expanding domestic product sales and e-commerce in China, with an opportunity for building up connection with Guangzhou entrepreneurs and gaining experience from local market pioneers.
The Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau - the Greater Bay Area Development Office, The Hong Kong Brand Development Council and The Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong hosted a luncheon seminar under the banner of "Hong Kong · In · Brand Greater Bay" on 25 April 2023, to assist Hong Kong businessmen to gain deeper understanding of the current situation and development prospects of the consumer market in the Greater Bay Area.
Mr. Benjamin Mok, Deputy Commissioner for the Development of the Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao Greater Bay Area and CMA President Dr. Wingco Lo delivered welcome remarks at the beginning of the Seminar.
Mr. Peng Fuqiang, Managing Partner of KPMG Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macao Greater Bay Area Strategy and Development Center gave a speech about analyzing the business environment in the Greater Bay Area and the opportunities for Hong Kong brands to enter the Greater Bay Area market. Then Dr. Sherriff Luk, Professor of Marketing of Emlyon Business School, delivered a speech on "Strategies for Winning Brands in the Greater Bay Area", analyzing the current economic status of the markets in China and the Greater Bay Area, market development trends, the characteristics and changes of consumer behavior, he also gave advices on brand creation and development in the Greater Bay Area; and the third speaker, Mr. Simon Wong, Chairman of the Kampery Development Limited and founder of "KamCha" illustrated how this Hong Kong-style milk tea brand stroke success on Mainland's domestic sales market. At last, Mr. Feng Ping, Chairman of Guangzhou One Hour Technology Limited shared how to utilize brand chain stores and system cooperative stores to construct a strong service delivery brand ecological network online and offline by using his own enterprise examples.
The "Hong Kong · In · Brand Greater Bay" Luncheon Seminar invited about 170 enterprises from Hong Kong and Hong Kong start-ups in the Greater Bay Area, as well as representatives from Guangdong government departments and industry associations to attend and share their experiences.

The Hong Kong Brand Development Council hosted a seminar under the banner of xperience Sharing Seminar on“Strategies for Hong Kong Brands Going GBA 2025”on 21 March 2025.
The Seminar started with a speech by Dr Sherriff Luk, Professor of Marketing of Emlyon Business School, who summarized the report on “Greater Bay Area Market in Perspective and Implications for Hong Kong Brands” conducted by the BDC, followed by insightful recommendations on the effective branding strategies for harnessing the emerging trends of GBA market. Mr Eddie Lee, Chief Marketing Officer of Sun Sang Accessories Company Limited illustrated how SungSang stroke success on Mainland’s domestic sales market; and the third speaker, Ms Kim Jin, General Manager of Shenzhen HS Cultural Media Company Limited, shed light on the impacts of social media on brand promotion. At last, Mr Rudy Chan, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Cloudbreakr, shared on the Trends of AI Marketing. After delivering welcome remarks at the beginning of the Seminar, Chairman of the BDC Mr Calvin Chan presented souvenirs to the speakers.
Experience Sharing Seminar on “Strategies for Hong Kong Brands Going GBA 2025” was conducted online and offline simultaneously, with an audience of near 140 participants in total.
