Deputy Director-General of Industry and Trade Department (TID) Ms Vivien Lau and Assistant Director-General of TID Department Ms Belinda Kwan visited the Hong Kong Brand Development Council on 12 March 2009, and exchanged views on how to speed up the development of Hong Kong brands with the BDC Chairman Ms Shirley Chan and the BDC General Committee Member Mr. Kevin Lau. The Council also submitted to the TID a position paper namely “Suggestions on Fostering the Brand Development of Hong Kong SMEs”.
