The BDC held its 2026 Annual General Meeting at CMA Conference Hall on 22 September 2026. Mr Calvin Chan, the BDC Chairman, was the Chairman of AGM. In his speech, he reviewed he major work of the BDC in the past year, with focus on key areas such as advocacy of “new quality brand power”, establishment of best practices in branding, promotion of collective image of Hong Kong brands, and exploration of Hong Kong-based ESG standards, further reinforcing the Council’s role as an all-rounded platform to support the development of Hong Kong brands.
The AGM resolved that the Statement of Accounts of the Council and Reports of the General Committee and Auditors be received and JS CPA & Co be re-appointed as the Auditor. Near 30 General Committee members and registered representatives of member companies attended the meeting.
