Track of Glory

Founded in 2018, Mapxus is a leading provider of indoor geospatial information solutions. The Company utilises geographic information systems (GIS), AI algorithms, Wi-Fi fingerprinting, and sensor fusion technology to deliver software-based accessible indoor navigation solutions at a city-wide scale. Mapxus excels at quickly creating high-quality indoor maps that comply with international standards like WGS84 and IMDF. A key advantage of its approach is that no additional hardware installation is required. Instead, Mapxus leverages existing Wi-Fi infrastructure for effective navigation, which substantially reduces implementation costs.

As a key partner in Apple's IMDF programme, Mapxus promotes seamless and accessible indoor-outdoor, multi-floor, and crossvenue navigation. To date, it has built infrastructure data for over 3,000 indoor spaces across 25 cities in the Asia-Pacific region. Mapxus also provides text-to-audio mode services for the visually impaired and navigation support for those with mobility challenges, demonstrating its corporate social responsibility.

Mapxus has received numerous international awards, including the "Asia Pacific ICT Award" and the "Hong Kong ICT Award", and has been listed among Geoawesome "Global Top 100 Geospatial Companies" for three consecutive years. Through city-level digital twin infrastructure maps, accessible mobility, and smart disaster prevention solutions, Mapxus drives the sustainable development of smart cities, creating safer, more efficient, and inclusive urban environments, while expanding commercial value through applications like CityGeni to meet diverse needs.
