Opened in 1988, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) is internationally renowned for its exceptional service and the remarkable experience in hosting the world’s greatest events. Since its inception, HKCEC has hosted over 51,000 events, including large-scale trade exhibitions, conferences, corporate events, special events and banquets. These events have not only brought significant economic benefits to Hong Kong but also helped enhance Hong Kong’s international image.
Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) has been devoted to providing world-class facilities and services to meet customer needs to the highest standards. About 800 diverse events are held at the HKCEC annually, attracting an attendance of over 7 million from around the world. The event portfolio covers the world’s and Asia’s largest trade fairs, international conferences, and major consumer exhibitions, including a fascinating array of mega events with global influences like “Art Basel”, “Asian Financial Forum”, and “Hong Kong Book Fair”.
HKCEC has been continuously selected as “Asia’s Best Convention and Exhibition Centre” by “CEI Asia Magazine” and has received numerous accolades such as “Grand Award of the 2023 HKMA Quality Award” from Hong Kong Management Association and the “2023 UFI Operations and Services Award” from The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. It is the first organisation in Hong Kong to have received “ISO 20121” event sustainability management system certification, as well as “Muslim-friendly Convention & Exhibition Centre of The Year” and “Muslim friendly MICE Venue by Crescent Rating” from Crescent Rating, in recognition of its excellence in management, service and sustainability.
