Established in 1985 in Hong Kong, WINSTAR CHEMICALS is devoted to promoting the upgrading of the global surface finishing industry and serves a wider variety of sectors such as emerging new energy vehicles, semiconductor packaging and new microelectronics industries. The Group is headquartered in Hong Kong and has branches and technical centres in Chinese Mainland, Japan, Korea and Indonesia. With over 20 product trademarks registered around the world and more than 20 invention and utility patents, it has been recognised as a “Patent Demonstration Unit” in Chinese Mainland.
WINSTAR offers a wide range of industrial chemicals and household chemicals for various industries according to different standards, with customisation to meet customers’ special requirements; and it keeps investing in R&D to enhance innovation capabilities, applying research results to high-tech products such as microelectronics, semiconductor packaging, new energy vehicles, marine anticorrosion, railways and building materials, environmentally friendly additives and special coatings.
Over the years, WINSTAR has continuously introduced a host of green products, in an attempt to foster sustainable development of the industries and promote “new quality productive forces”. Its award-winning product “ZICOLLUM”, an environmentally-friendly nano-chromium-free zinc-aluminum coating, was adopted in the national bridge railway project in 2024. WINSTAR also launched “AQULLUM” odour-free antibacterial product series with professional deodorant odor management and application training, which are now extensively used in shopping malls and markets under the Link.
WINSTAR is deepening industry–academia– research collaboration, taking root in Chinese Mainland and striding forward towards international markets. In 2025, Winstar Chemicals became one of the Hong Kong enterprises participating in the formulation of “National Standards of the People’s Republic of China”; and it also proactively responded to the Belt and Road Initiative by participating in the HKSAR Government’s Middle East exchange projects, spearheading in taking forward the strategy of Hong Kong brands “going global”. Under the leadership of Company’s director, Mr Spande Chang, the Brand actively engages in academic exchanges, making efforts to fulfil corporate social responsibility while further promoting the high-quality development of Hong Kong brands.
