SINA GINGER was founded in the 1930s by Mr Yeung Chai Huei, who migrated to Pasuruan Indonesia from the then impoverished Fujian Province. In 1976, Sixfifteen Imports-Exports Limited was established in Hong Kong, serving as the Brand's worldwide distribution headquarters, with the support of two family-run manufacturing plants in Indonesia namely "PT Sin A Sixfifteen" and "PT Sindu Amritha". Through 88 years of hard work, SINA GINGER has built up an extensive sales network covering about 30 countries. The Group is also an appointed manufacturer for various renowned ginger confectionery brands in the United States, Germany, Sweden, Singapore, Thailand and Korea.
SINA GINGER offers the best-quality ginger candies with natural ingredients and unique flavours, by means of traditional secret recipe as well as fresh emprit ginger grown on rich and pristine soil of high-altitude volcanic mountains in Java, Indonesia. The ginger candies are produced in two factories equipped with modern facilities in Indonesia, which were built in 1935 and 1997 respectively. The third factory is going to enter into operation, which will help to bring a three-fold increase in terms of production capacity.
SINA GINGER places much importance on quality and adopts strict measures to monitor every step of the production process. Its manufacturing facilities have attained "HACCP", "GMP", "ISO 22000" and "FSSC 22000" certifications, and the products are compliant with "HALAL", "Kosher", "Vegan" and "NON-GMO" standards.
After receiving "2019 Top Brand Award" from Frontier Group and MAJALAH MARKETING in Indonesia, SINA GINGER was honoured with "Hong Kong Top Brand" by Hong Kong Brand Development Council in 2020, as a testimony to its strenuous and fruitful efforts over the years.
