Established in 1985 in Hong Kong, WINSTAR CHEMICALS is devoted to promoting the upgrading of worldwide surface finishing industry and serves a wider variety of sectors such as the emerging new energy vehicles, semiconductor packaging, new microelectronics industries. The Group is headquartered in Hong Kong and has branches and technical centres in Mainland China, Japan, Korea and Indonesia. With over 20 product trademarks registered around the world and more than 20 invention and utility patents, it has been recognised as a "Patent Demonstration Unit" in Mainland China.
WINSTAR offers a wide range of products for various industries according to different standards, with customization to meet customers' special requirements; and it keeps investing in R&D to enhance innovation capabilities , applying research results to high-tech products such as microelectronics, semiconductor packaging, new energy vehicles, marine anticorrosion, railways and building materials, environmentally friendly additives and special coatings.
Over the years, WINSTAR has continuously introduced a host of green products, in an attempt to foster sustainable development of the industries and promote "new quality productive forces" . Its awad-winning product "ZICOLLUM" , an environmentally-friendly nano-chromium-free zinc-aluminum coating, was once again adopted in the national bridge railway project in 2024. WINSTAR also launched "AQULLUM" odor-free antibacterial product series with professional deodorant odor management and application raining, which are now extensively used in shopping malls, markets, commercial buildings under the Link.
In 2023, WINSTAR signed a high-tech cooperation agreement with CMA+ with an aim to foster industry-academic research collaboration and enhance its readiness to expand in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and even the global market. With the mission of "Contributing to the Society through Technology", the Company's director Mr Spande Cheung holds a number of public service positions, playing an active role in promoting the industries and Hong Kong brands.
